The Sealing Frame for the Truma Aventa Comfort or Compact is not a required part for installation but is strongly recommended. 

Fitting the Sealing Frame allows you to service the  Truma Aventa Comfort or Compact easily, as you do not have to remove sealants to gain access, at the same time the Sealing Frame gives a watertight connection again without the need for sealant.
