This version of Buzz the Yellowjacket debuted in 1985, and while Georgia Tech’s color palette has changed since then, his signature smirk and overall look remained the same. The live version of Buzz is formally a member of the cheer squad, and students audition to be Buzz during cheerleading tryouts.
